US Roadtrip 2010 - Vicksburg

I guess it is part of every roadtrip, getting stuck at least once. After leaving Roswell and having the pleasure of spraying graffiti on old cadillacs, we got stuck in our search to find a resting place for the night. More often than not are the state parks we are aiming at closed, so was this one. Rather tired at 4:30am driving all night, we were in desperate need for some quiet location to rest. Out of desperation we decided to just stop at the side of some (corn)field. What we haven't anticipated was the wet ground we encountered off the road. We didn't get very far before our (not 4 wheel) car got stuck. At 5am we got out of the car, down on our knees and tried to get out of there. After a lot of back and forth, pushing and pulling and a camping mat later we managed to get out. What a night!
